BKT has been selected for Korea Environment Corporation’s 2025 Win-Win Program to demonstrate battery wastewater treatment and resource recovery with L&F.

Global water treatment leader BKT has been selected for the 2025 Win-Win Cooperation Demonstration Program, organized by the Korea Environment Corporation.
According to BKT on the 12th, wastewater treatment has become a growing concern with the rapid expansion of the battery industry, particularly in the secondary battery sector.
In response, BKT has developed technologies that not only treat battery wastewater effectively but also recover valuable resources, thereby improving overall economic efficiency.
The Win-Win Cooperation Demonstration Program supports partnerships between green technology providers and organizations facing environmental challenges. The initiative aims to promote the development and distribution of green technologies and to support eco-friendly management practices.
As part of this program, BKT (provider) will apply its battery wastewater treatment technology at the site of L&F Co., Ltd. (end user), a secondary battery manufacturer.
The project will receive up to KRW 1 billion (approximately USD 750,000) in government funding and is scheduled to run through February 14, 2026.
