BKT Overview

Innovating Today to Impact Tomorrow

BKT/Tomorrow Water is a solutions provider for water and energy, dedicated to creating a sustainable future where wastewater and organic waste are no longer burdens but valuable resources.

As Korea’s leading water treatment company, BKT has pioneered technologies that maximize resource recovery and minimize greenhouse gas emissions. Its integrated solutions address global challenges in water, waste, and climate—transforming wastewater treatment plants into smart, resource-generating hubs that benefit both people and the planet.

Its U.S. subsidiary, Tomorrow Water, drives global marketing, international partnerships, and innovation outreach, bringing BKT’s technologies to the world stage. Together, the two entities share a common mission to build smarter and more resilient cities for future generations.

At the heart of this vision lies the Tomorrow Water Project (TWP), a Moonshot initiative officially registered under the UN SDGs Partnership (#40493) and recognized by the UN ECOSOC.
TWP redefines wastewater management by transforming it “from cost stream to profit stream” through integrated solutions combining thermal hydrolysis (DRACO), anaerobic digestion (AAD), and Anammox nitrogen removal (AMX).
These innovations reduce energy use, sludge volume, and chemical dependency while generating clean energy and carbon credits.

To bring this vision into reality, BKT/Tomorrow Water has developed the Co-Flow Campus (CFC), a practical model of the TWP that integrates wastewater treatment with biogas plants, smart farms, and data centers.
By connecting water, energy, and data in a circular flow, CFC demonstrates how future cities can achieve carbon neutrality and resource self-sufficiency.

Grounded in impact leadership, BKT/Tomorrow Water measures success not by financial growth alone but by the positive impact it creates—expanding access to sanitation, fostering economic development, and decarbonizing infrastructure worldwide.
